Google held their annual Android event last week and along with some new phones and other hardware they debut'd the latest version of Android, dubbed 'Marshmallow' or Android 6.0.  'Marshmallow' promises to improve battery life up to 30% for just about all devices that run on it which will be a nice perk if it holds true.  It also includes a host of new features and further refinements of old including 'contextual assistance, privacy and security features, Android Runtime (ART), productivity, system usability improvements, connectivity and storage improvements and much more.  You can find out much more about Android Marshmallow at Google's Android's Marshmallow Site Here.

30% battery savings... that sounds great.  But in reality, only people using android without tweaks will see that kind of savings.  Those of us already taking control of battery life, one way or another, won't see that much.
