ok....let's begin

you must delete the old XBMC app and install the new XBMC app here.....http://www.xbmchub.com/blog/

then follow the instruction here....http://www.xbmcandroid.com/2013/06/03/how-to-install-the-official-version-of-xbmc-for-android-then-configure-it-with-the-xbmc-hub-wizard-addon/

Congratulation.....you now have the great multimedia app in your s7p.....XBMC is huge app but s7p meet their hardware specification so it won't crash but you must be patient let the app work the way it should......enjoy.

Thanks for the nice Christmas present. The install is a bit different than the picture tutorial but easy to install nonetheless.

This was a nice addition to the sero. Been wanting to look into XBMC for a while and this made it so simple to get a working setup to mess around with.

Thanks once more

Any thoughts on how to use mx player as the default video player, or a way to get rid of the menu buttons on the bottom of the screen when video is playing so the video is truly full screen for HDMI out ?

yes.... you can do that by install softkeysFadeMode app

we're already have 'Xposed Installer' in s7p.... just open it.... go to 'Framework' click on 'install/update' botton and click 'reboot' botton to exist
open Xposed Installer.... go to 'download'  look for 'softkeysFadeMode'.... then install it.... reboot.
open Xposed Installer..... go to 'Modules'  .... check on softkeysFadeMode...... reboot

open softkeysFadeMode and embed it...... done!

set the number very high will delay the fading......

PS:    i really don't know how to change mx player to be default player in xbmc.... i try not to change anything except pictures icon in system...video... addon.

Edit:   I think I better give you guy the link for instruction.....http://www.theandroidcop.com/install-halo-and-x-floating-window-on-any-android-device/

XMBC now available to stream via Chromecast with the Avia app.

Instructions here:

http://www.xbmchub.com/forums/announcements/18905-xbmc-chromecast-together-already.html

video here:

Watch Xbmc over Chromecast through Avia

Found this last night and confirmed it is working on Sero 7 Pro. I had to use Rom toolbox to navigate to the xmbc user data folder to move the file. ES File explorer would not show this directory even with root enabled.

You must have root to make this work.

Bear in mind that you should delete any existing XMBC app first before installing the XAF build for neon touch devices.

Avia does not support all file types so not all streaming links will play via the chromecast.

All credit goes out to the parties noted in the two links.

Enjoy

so I have installed and uninstalled both the xbmc android version from their site, as well as the xaf version. both install and load, but after it's finished, an error pops up saying xbmc stopped working. I uninstalled my antivirus since I can't stop it, have used link2sd to move other files to make space. rooted running stock

I really don't know why xbmc not work on your s7p ....I want you to have good entertainment media app.....OK try this one you might like it.
Install Aptoide apk and search for 'showbox' install it.....don't for get to have 'adaway' so no advertise to see.

PS.....you should flash the new ROM Dopa v2. It's stable and work great.

Showbox is great, another member just mentioned it. I wonder if the S7Lt is that different from the S7P. Or is there an app in the way?

I recently tried xbmc again, 13.1 version. It started up and runs no problem. It's good because TV portal and showbox don't work now.
