Thanks for great write up. It's so disappointed that Google services were blocked by the ISP. There are so many great apps you could have. I followed this guide to do backup and restore, lol. It seems take less time with my option. Better for beginners without any tech background.

To back up your App from Android to your computer, I suggest you try Assistant for Android tool to extract  to your computer, it also can help  transfer contacts, photos, videos, and more files from Android to computer. See: Android backup text messages

Here is an easy-to-use tool for data backup on android called android phone manager. With it, you can backup and restore your apps easily on computer.  Android app manager

Thanks for sharing, to backup android apps to computer, you can use an android assistant to help. Try Coolmuster Android Assistant, it could transfer everything from phone to computer, like text messages, contacts, photos, etc.

As far as I know, a special designed android data backup app could transfer everything from your phone to computer, and you don't need to root your phone, just need enable usb debugging on your phone.
