no wifi issues?   So far every custom rom I have tried, with the exception of DoPa and serolicious, has had wifi issues on my tablet-some were very minor issues.  Wifi is like oxygen to me.....

Well I have had zero issues with this rom. GPS, WIFI and all apps work perfect. Like you I always seem to have found some type of problem with all the other roms I've tried but this one is definitely a keeper  :) Give it a try and see for yourself.

Ok,  I'm going to flash it later tonight. I'll let you know what I think.

I'm running DoPa's 4.4.2 AOSP Kitkat build and it is the bomb.. But, a warning.. Do not try adjusting the screen brightness with the Gravity Box settings! (Xposed module) It screws something up and makes some ROMs unstable. FYI

I tried this ROM for about a week.  I saw a decrease in speed on my tablet.  Also, spotify didn't stream well at all.  It broke up and stuttered.  I stream music with spotify everyday so that didn't work for me.  I went back to DoPa V2.   No issues using that ROM.

Were you running v1 or v1.1? Just curious. Mine has performed pretty well, and I don't even overclock.. But then I don't stream with Spotify either. I'll have to try that myself and see if I see any issues..

Thanks!

I flashed liquid smooth last night.  My initial thoughts are, yeah, it's really smooth.   And quick too.  I only played around with it for an hour and a half or so, but no wifi issues yet.   I'll play around with it some more later tonight.  I have some screen shots I'll post later too, for anyone that's interested.

hmmmm.  that I don't know.   So maybe I will have to flash that one again and see!   I can't overclock with my tablet.  Overclocking also creates issues with music on my tablet.  Doesn't matter what app I use.

I was reading the thread on xda regarding some others having issues with music breaking up and dolorespark was commenting on it - in regards to wifi and all the album art and stuff that has to load.  I think this could be exactly what is happening to my tablet.

Here:  post #60 and #68.  It's not a rom issue, it's an issue with my router possibly triggered by the tablet- depending on the rom.  Because it doesn't happen with every rom, only certain ones.   http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2709243&page=7

OK, I'm clueless. What exactly are the advantages of the latest and greatest ROMs over Dopa 2.0? Dopa is very stable and allows overclocking, which as far as I understand, the latest ROMs do not. I see comments like "its very smooth" or "its the bomb" which tell me absolutely nothing. So I would appreciate some specifics, if anyone can spell them out. Thanks!

Well CM11/AOKP/SlimROM have their own features themselves (CM11 being my favorite) which are really cool that you can just Google, because they're the same for every device. However the main difference is that the newer ROMs run KitKat (Android 4.4) While Dopa is still on JellyBean (Android 4.2.2) And again Google is your best friend to find what the KitKat update brings, however one of the main ones is that if done right KitKat will have speed improvements which is nice, and the newer ROMS are builds of really popular ROMs which like I said have really cool features and improvements.

Also some of the new ROMs DO allow overclocking.

Is this different than the Liquid Smooth Blood that was posted in a different thread?  I liked the ROM, but couldn't stand the blood red color.  So in other words is this ROM that you guys used heavy with a red color scheme?  Also which version did you install?  The newest build from 4-09 or the one from 3-31?  I assume the older one is the more "stable" of the 2.

Thanks in advance.

hi Shneor.  When I say smooth.... I am referring to how the UI responds to scrolling, moving between pages, opening and closing of apps... in this case... smooth as liquid.  I see a difference.
